1959 – Opening
Our firm was established in 1959 when Dr. Vladimir Marić left his position as President of the County Commercial Court in Sarajevo to start his own law practice.

1971 – Expansion
In 1971, Branko Marić joined the firm, leading to significant growth. The firm expanded to include several lawyers and interns, and we began serving our first international clients.

1995 – Fast Growth
Following the dissolution of the former Yugoslavia, our firm thrived in the newly open market, seizing new opportunities and broadening our scope of services.

1998 – International Client Base
In addition to highly developed connections with global law firms, Marić & Co also joined the SEE Legal group of leading law firms in the SEE region to provide high-quality services in the Balkans.

2004/2024 – New Form
With a significant increase in business and the number of lawyers, the structure of our joint law office proved inadequate for our rapid growth. Establishing the new Marić & Co Law Firm as an LTD was necessary, and in this form, we continue to expand to this day.
